Sherry holds a business degree from Desales University and studied horticulture at Penn State. Since taking over the family business in 1984, she has lead the successful operation of Eisler Nurseries, Inc. and the growth of the business to include Eisler Landscapes. Under her guidance, the company has grown from a $500,000 operation in 1985 to a $6 million plus company in 2011.

Sherry is also active in many community organizations including; the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nurserymen Association, Butler County Chamber of Commerce (Board Chairman 2007), LifeSteps, Butler Garden Club (President 2009-2011). In 2009, Sherry received the Butler County Distinguished Service Award.
