A 1985 graduate of Penn State University's Horticulture program, Peter is the current vice president and superintendent of Eisler Nurseries and the Treasurer for Eisler Landscapes.

Peter is also active in a number of civic organizations including the Pennsylvania Landscape & Nurserymen Association, Pennsylvania Farm Bureau Advisory Council, and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden.
